About German Australian Shepherds
The Basics
The German Australian Shepherd, is a crossbred of a German Shepherd and a Australian Shepherd, is a medium to large-sized dog. Inheriting the distinctive appearance and temperamental characteristics from its parent breeds. The results is an intelligent canine with and athletic structure and a strong work drive that makes a good working dog home companion, or therapy animal.
Temperament/ Behavior
Known for their intelligence, alertness, and loyalty, they are extremely devoted to their family members and enjoy spending time playing. They get along well with the kids provided they are socialized with them when young. As in the case of most herding breeds they can be a little wary of Strangers but are still an overall very confident dog. Their wariness of strangers makes them great guard dogs.
Being protective by nature, they do a great job watching and guarding their house and family. Because of their kind and loving behavior towards their family members, they are considered good family pets. However, they need confident and firm leadership and are thus not suitable for the timid or first-time owners.

Bree is a sweet loving mamma, who enjoys running and playing with her buddies. She also enjoys hanging with her family and getting all the loving that she can. Bree weighs about 56 lbs, and is AKC Registered.
River is a big loving baby who enjoys hanging with his people, and running and playing with his buddies. He also enjoys playing in the water on the hot days!!
River weights about 80 lbs, and is AKC Registered.
